My sister Madeline and her son Aidan came and visited us for a week. I warn you now, we had way too much fun, and took way too many pictures. We didn't do anything big while she was here mostly hanging out around the house, or taking the kids to the park or playing the in sprinkler. But it was great to have her here for a while, and the cousins had a lot of fun playing together.
We got this rocket for Chris, we thought he would have fun playing with it during the summer. Mike helped him set it up the first night Madeline was here. It was a little tricky getting the baking soda and vinegar in the right spots and then fitting it together but we eventually got it figured out and it blasted into the air (about 5 feet into the air, the package says it will go 25, we'll get back to you on that one)
Aunt Madie braided Becca's hair, which is no small job because Becca's hair is very fine and wispy. Becca loved her braids and showed them off the rest of the day.
Rachael learned that she could hitch a ride on the walker and get driven around the house. It was also a great place to pick up stray cheerios, though she did share a few with Aidan.
We took the kids to the park for a fun morning of playing in the sun. Afterwards we meet Mike at McDonald's for lunch.
Rachael taught Aidan a new trick, how to climb stairs. Sorry about that Madie!
Getting ready for Church means Saturday night baths. To save time we put that babies in together. They had a great time splashing and climbing but they did eventually get clean.
This is just funny. The kids love the air vent in the living room. Aidan would crawl over it and let the cool air blow his face, and Becca loves to make her skirt blow out.
On Madie's last day here we took the kids outside for some fun in the sprinkler.
Aunt Madie left behind some cheese balls. Rachael loves them but they are almost too big for her little mouth.
