June 2010

For the end of the year party, Chris's teacher had a pancake
breakfast for the whole class.  Mike and I went to help
make and serve food to Chris and his classmates.

After breakfast, Ms. Bailey handed out awards to
the students.

Rachael went to a princess themed brithday
party for a friend from church.  She had such
a great time and wore her crown for the
rest of the week.
I needed to get some work done one afternoon so
I grabbed all the toy kitchen items and
filled the sink and the girls had a blast.

Becca's class also had an award day, followed
with a picnic.

My little monkey is 11 months old.
Holding stiff for a picture is the last thing on her mind.

I signed the girls up for a week long gym class.
They loved it.  We spent an extra day there for
some open gym time.  Even Melissa got in on the fun.

They told me this was the bird perch.

Chris went to scout camp for the first time this year.
He had a great time playing with all the other boys and
being outside.  Everyday he had something new to show
me that they built or a new sport they tried.

This girl loves her puppy.  I love to see her clutching it
as she sleeps.

Another day at gym class.

Mike and I made a trip to Paris to look for housing for
our upcoming move.  We dividing up the kids, sending the
older two to Brandon and Krissi's house for the week, while
the youngest two went to Nana and Papa's house.
It was a crazy schedule but a productive trip.

This is the playground at Parc Monceau, right next to the
school the kids will be attending.

The kids new school, EAB.

Our friends, Paul and Heather, have been incredibly
helpful with information for this move to Paris.
We spent many evenings at their house.  Their daughter,
Emily is the same age as Rachael.

After our quick trip to Paris, we spent a day in FL visiting
with my parents before we packed up the kids and headed
home.

Rachael had to show off her skills of
jumping into the pool.

Rachael and Aidan had a great time together.

Truly the only way to travel.

Becca lost her first tooth.

10 months old!

It's getting hard to have the card in the picture.
All she wants to do is grab it and run away.

Melissa's crawling technique, hands and feet.
I don't know why she doesn't use her knees.
Maybe my floors are too dirty.

My talented friend, Dacy, has a vinyl business and I had her
help me make this family home evening chart.
I love it!

Why are the simpliest games always the most fun?

Who needs toys when you can just use what's lying
around the kitchen?

The girls spent the afternoon making a fort in the living room.  They got very creative using what they found lying around and finding items to make it hold together.

She may be my picky eater, but she really enjoys the foods she does eat.

We spent a beautiful Saturday afternoon at a nearby
family center.  It made for a great family day.

Becca and Emily ready to race in the go-carts.

Chris behind the wheel...watch out!

Michael and Rachael racing behind Chris.
Melissa's favorite activity these days is reorganizing my
kitchen.  Every night I'm searching the house to resupply
my kitchen with towels, hot pads and tupperware.

The cuteness behind the mess.

The boys went on a father and son campout.
Chris was so excited.  It was all he talked about all week.
The grub box Mike made for all his camping supplies.
While the boys were camping, we had a girls night at home.
Complete with pizza, a princess movie and painted fingernails.

Crazy hair day at school.  I'm not really sure what
the purpose is but the kids love it.

If you take a picture of one of them, you have to take a picture of all of them.
