November 2010

The month of November saw the weather getting colder and some more family visits.  Mike's cousin, Janalie, was living in the south of France and came to Paris for a few days with her daughter Dava Jane.  We took one day and walked from our apartment to the Madeleine Church, across Place de la Concord, through the Jardin des Tuileries and over to the Louvre.  It's amazing that I can do all that in one day!

In the Tuileries Garden

Walking through the Tuileries

There was a children's playground right in the middle of
the Tuileries Garden.  The kid's loved it.

Chris decided to act out some paintings

The girl's informed me they were pretending
to ride the horse through the museum.

One last visit with Dava Jane

Chris is helping us put together a coin collection of all the
Euro coins from different countries.

My little artist, Becca was showing me all her
different faces.

We spent a rainy Saturday at the Natural History Museum.
They were having a special Dinosaur exhibit.  As soon as
we walked in Melissa started growling at the dinosaurs.
She kept it up the whole time we were there.

My Thanksgiving preparations.  We still had a traditional
Thanksgiving dinner, complete with sweet potato casserole,
homemade rolls, and derby pie.

Our dinner companions.
