May 2011

My little artists

I was cleaning out the closet and Melissa
found her car seat.  She doesn't quite
fit into it anymore.

Someone was a little too tired to waste time
on eating.

I was able to take a bread class at Le Cordon Bleu.  It was so much fun. And now I use every excuse to practice making baguette.

All the items we baked in a one day bread class.

Our neighbor brought over this chocolate Easter egg for the kids.  She's so sweet.

Inside were lots of little chocolate eggs, and chocolate fish.

I love this little corner of Parc Monceau.  In the
spring it becomes all green and flowers bloom.
I want to take some family pictures here
before we move.

We were invited to join a family from church for a picnic at a park.
The park is just outside Paris, so it's not overcrowded.
There were playgrounds and a small farm.  So much fun.

At the end of the school year, each class puts on a little show to display the music they have learned through out the year.  Chris and Becca's classes performed on the same day.  Rachael skipped school that day so she could see them perform.

Recognizing friends in the audience

Becca spotted us.

Becca's class

Chris's class.  They combined all the 3rd and 4th grade classes in the school for this performance.

The three boys in front of Chris are some of his best friends.

He looks like he's up to something.

The girls found the hair bow box and decided
to play dress up.

Rebecca's class took a field trip to the bread market.
They got to see how bread was made and even make a small
braided loaf to bring home.
