The Perrins come to Paris!
Kathy and Seth surprised us with a quick weekend trip to Paris. We had a great time doing some sightseeing while there were here. And it was just plain fun to spend some time together. All the kids enjoyed playing with their cousin Colton. Thankfully they were gracious guests and didn't mind the fact that we didn't really have furniture and made them sleep on the floor. All in all it was a great vacation for all.
Waiting to go up the Eiffel Tower.
They light up the tower every night and then on the hour it sparkles. The girl's called it their princess lights and are convinced it was done just for them.
The kids loved playing in the gardens behind Versailles.
So there was this empty pedestal in the garden, and someone thought it would be a great idea to put the kids up there to become their own statues.
The kids couldn't be the only ones having fun.
The kids loved listening to the info on the headsets.
Spending the day at the Louvre.
Rachael would find the floor vents where ever we went. For her, this was the most exciting part of the day.
A Sunday picnic in front of Notre Dame
I loved all the stained glass windows.
So this shows you how dirty my floors get. This is Melissa's sweet footprint left on the white sheets of her crib after a nap. And this is just from walking barefoot in the apartment all day. Yikes!
My scary oven. It's old, it's dirty, and I'm not entirely sure how it works.
The inside view. It's small too. My 9X13 dish barely fits in here, and brand new cookie sheet I brought doesn't fit at all. Time to go shopping.
